ESITech
Another Outlook issue... Multiple emails show up in an individual users mailbox whenever there is more than one recipient. I have checked the users Rules & Alerts but none were created. Anyone heard of this issue before? Mailbox is set up with Exchange 2003. It has been suggested that turning off Symantec Endpoint protection to scan emails might do the trick but shouldn't that be happening to all users in the company and not just one or two accounts? Dencandy
This is a never-ending Outlook problem. For me it comes & goes. Sometimes I get 2 of each email sometimes only one. It doesn't seem to occur if you change to Windows Live.

zzr
Check in task manager you haven't got 2 Outlooks open. If so close one down. We're always having problems at work because numpty opens another Outlook when there's already one open in the toolbar.
Irene
I have also been receiving duplicate emails recently.(Outlook 2007 and Yahoo)...THIS article from Microsoft Support attempts to address the problem. It does state at the bottom of the article that Microsoft have confirmed that this is a problem for Outlook 2007, 2003 & 2002 Standard Edition. Dencandy
This morning when I started Outlook Express my Inbox had 4 copies of every email!! :0 Is this a record, I wonder?Strangely, after opening one, then returning to the Inbox, the three surplus copies of each email had disappeared.Very weird.
