andsome
If I want to save a particular e mail, I click on forward and send it to my Outlook Express in box. It is then easy to save it from there to My documents. :D

Dencandy
First of all, all your Hotmail documents are stored & backed up on the Hotmail servers (except those that have been deleted). So they are accessable any time over the internet. However if you want to have your Hotmail emails on your own computer one way to do that is to configure Outlook to handle your Hotmail account (they work together very well). Once you've done that Outlook stores your emails in Documents & Settings\(your User Name).(your Computer Name) with the extension .DBXTo make a copy of it you just locate that folder in Outlook using Tools > Options > Maintenance > Store Folder and copy it from there in the usual way in any suitable location. If you use the MS XP Backup feature & select Back up My Documents & Settings, that will automatically back up your Outlook message store and any other email stores in that item to the selected media.I'm sure you'll find some other ideas if you browse through some of the Hotmail & Outlook user groups. Dencandy
Yes, quite correct AlanHo, this is the procedure for Outlook Express. I imagine there must be something similar for Office Outlook, but I don't what that is as I don't use it.
