andsome
Personally, I never remove any cables. I pull out the plug at the wall socket and remove the side of the case. :D
Dencandy
I'm hopeless at stuff like this so I stick little labels on all the plugs and sockets with sellotape. :D
andsome
Maybe you lot have different types of computers to mine. I can only plug into the correct sockets. All the hardware plugs are only suitable for the correct computer socket.??? :DP.S. If you mean the internal cables I NEVER EVER remove those for cleaning. I use compressed air to loosen the crud, and suck it out with a mini vacuum cleaner.
Alan2273
If you are just cleaning the inside of your computer, just make sure it is disconnected from the mains, (if it is a seperate modem disconnect that from the mains as well), there is no need to disconnect any internal or external cables.
