andsome
This is not the only such stupid anomaly in business. Spec Savers charge considerably more to put new lenses into your old frames, than they do for new frames and lenses.
Gandalph
I wouldn't touch Spec Savers with a twenty foot barge pole. Rip off specialists.
andsome
I wouldn't touch Spec Savers with a twenty foot barge pole. Rip off specialists. Very true. We use them just for the test now. We always feel that our tests have been very thorough. There is a small place in Lichfield that saved me over £100 last time. Spec Savers wanted £230 for replacing my old lenses with new, and just under £215 for new frames plus lenses, absolutely ridiculous. I paid £105 for replacement lenses at the other place. I have the best quality varifocals reactolight lenses. :D
