I've moved this to Off the Topic because even though it is forum related it isn't exactly ground breaking forum news!!!

Anyway................. well all know it is quality and not quantity that counts!!! :P

And how many of those are Andsomes usual 3 word replies!!! :D

Now that there are several more replies to the original thread I will endeavour to provide a little more than a three word reply. I still do not fully understand what the original thread title means, 'You Are Not Your Post Count!'. For a start the sentence does not make sense, in that it neither asks a question or makes a point. 'You are not your post count' appears to me to be totally meaningless. For a start what is a 'Post count'? Of course I am not a post count, I am merely the best looking forum member, and also the most intelligent and modest. I would very much appreciate it if someone could enlighten me as to exactly what a post count is. Meantime I hope that I cannot be accused in this instance of making a three word reply. There are many threads made on this forum which do not warrant any more than a three word reply, or indeed even one or two words, as can be seen by a good many replies which consist merely of  , or  , or even  . To sum up, does this count as a more full and erudite reply than a mere three words, and is it an improvement on :o , :P , etc?

NO I have not been at the bottle.

Good god, Andsome - you're starting to sound bitter and twisted about so many things. B)

There must be SOMETHING that makes you happy?? :)

Sorry, I did not mean to give an impression of bitter and twisted. I was trying to comply with an obvious desire that my answers are more than three words. Hence the padding. I sincerely hope that any conveyance of a hint of bitter twistedness is henceforth squashed, and that indeed it can be seen that I am attempting to overcome the three word answer syndrome. I have not counted the actual number of words in this reply, but am convinced that it is well in excess of three, and that all and sundry are well and truly satisfied.

Regarding what makes me happy. A really decent meal goes a long way toward happiness with anyone who has a natural tendency toward greediness. A nice piece of proper music well performed. A nice warm but not excessively hot summer day. A glass or two of good Midlands produced beer, or a tot or two of decent malt whisky. Having my back scratched, and quite a few more things too numerous to mention, even in a longer than three word answer.

I trust that this answer has satisfied your desire not to see me as bitter and twisted, and also silenced any critics of three word answers. :D :D :D :D :D

You are not your post count.... um I am not really in a good postition to explain this, having the dubious title of top poster. But I think the point was being made that your post count... ie, the number of posts that you have made... is no reflection whether you actually have something to say!!!

Summat like that anyway
