catgate Posted September 5, 2009 Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 Yesterday afternoon, for no reason that is apparent, when I clicked "News" on Google I was presented with the following :- I assumed that there must be a Google Glitch and it would be repaired but it is still the same. All the other options like Maps, Images, Shopping etc.are OK.Has anyone else got the same?I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (fully updated) and Firefox 3.0.13.In the words of Elvis " Ugh Ugh It's all shut up." catgate Posted September 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 Well now here's a comical thing.I went and fired up my 98se machine and all was peace and joy with Google News on that.So it seemed to point to this machine.I came back and pointed it at Google News and it was still unreadable. All other Google stuff was as normal. I wondered what would happen if I zoomed in a few times, so I tried.It is now back to normal (ish).I can not remember doing anything with the zoom function for ages. Damned funny.
