catgate Posted October 22, 2009 Report Share Posted October 22, 2009 Re the job cuts at the Land Registry.Mark Serwotka, the union's general secretary, said: "Staff are shocked and angry about these plans."With 1,700 jobs already gone, there is a real danger that services to the public will suffer as the agency is cut to the bone.Isn't it funny that they should suddenly start worrying about services to the public. They have never been bothered about it before.If one in five of the Land Registry staff will be affected, as is claimed and there is a real danger that services to the public will suffer what have they been doing all these years if it only rated as there is a real danger ??
