Hi there, I have just bought Windows 7 on the undrestanding that i would be able to alter almost everything to the way I like it, only to find that I cannot even change the way the syart menu looks. I want to be able to make it look like XP but am unable to find this anywhere. Can anyone help me out please.

I don't understand this.

If you want your computer to look and behave like XP then the obvious thing to do is install XP.

I wish I could install XP but as the computer came with Vista already installed and I tried to put XP on it over a year ago and it wouldn't accept it (Dell said thay had made it that way) \i just had to put up with it but I made it look like XP, which I want to do with 7

XP is running out of time as we speak... the only way we're going to be able to enjoy it sooner or later and be safe when using the internet is making newer Microsoft releases look like XP. :(

I guess I didn't quite make clear what it is that I want to do. I want the old clasic start menue like in windows 95-98 which I was able to get back in XP and vista but it eludes me in 7 if anyone can tell me how to do this I would be most grateful

Sorry if I confused the issue in earlier posts
