ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Thank you for your concern. All TV programmes had the tsunami warning map superimposed on a quarter of the screen; it was rather annoying.Due to it having been Sunday, not too many people were out and about - all trains along the west coast had been stopped as a safety precaution. At the end it wasn't much of a tsunami when it arrived, as expected, but I understand the great concern and precautions, as Japan had experienced very deadly tsunamis in the past. What is the situation in Chile? Gandalph
There hasn't been much on the TV channels about it Pat. Not that I've seen at any rate. Pulled this off my Home Page. BBC News . HTH.
andsome
Luckily, I don't think that the tsunami has been as bad as forecast anywhere. Evidently, the severity is difficult to forecast, so they erred on the safe side.
