-pops-
PCMService.exe is part of Dell's Cyberlink Power Cinema software, if you don't use it, remove it using programs and features in control panel. If you do use it, you could try re-installing or repairing the program that is the cause of the problem. Most likely it will be on one of the disks that came with the computer.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Do I understand correctly - you cannot start Windows completely? If so, please start Windows in Safe Mode, then run MSCONFIG, select the Startup tab, and check if you have that PCMService.exe somewhere in the startup list. If so, disable it.If not, start services.msc and see if it is in there. If so, disable it.If not, please report again.

Boris
I assume that this is a laptop ?You could try uninstalling Dell Mediadirect - which is Dell's own application to enable you to watch DVD movies, slideshows, or listen to music. Seshomaru Samma
there are plenty of free programs that you can download from the internet which will enable you to do the exact same thing as DEll's Media Direct. They will probably do it better....Uninstall Media Direct. It will be fine.
