Alan2273
I decided to sell something on e-bay, as it will not allow me to upload a photograph form the Opera browser, I switched to Internet Explorer. When I clicked upload, it said I needed Adobe flash player which could be installed by clicking the link.So I clicked the link and information came up that there was no 64 bit version of Adobe flash player till version 10.1 was completed, so to download Firefox, as that would work.As I have tried FF and do not like it, I had to fire up the Wifes netbook which runs a 32 bit W7 to be able to upload this photo to e-bay.If the future is 64 bit computing and W7 has been available in 64 bit since last October what the heck is Adobe playing at by still not having support for its 64 bit flash player.Rant over. MANEMAN
I've heard that there is a hold up at Adobe, and they've been waiting for some bits to come in. :) John.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Flash Player runs fine on the 32-bit Internet Explorer (which is the default browser on 64-bit Windows).
Alan2273
Flash Player runs fine on the 32-bit Internet Explorer (which is the default browser on 64-bit Windows).I beg to differ on that point Pat, this installation of W7 Home Premium 64 bit runs IE 64bit as standard, as you can see at the top of the picture. AlanHo
I have no idea how and when I managed this result - but I seem to have two versions of IE8 installed.I have just had a play with both and cannot detect any difference in performance - other than that I am not able to use Flash Player in the 64 bit version..
