What is this traditionally served with?Rice,potatoes?

Us old 'uns in the UK tend to be meat and 2 vegetable types

We have our faggots with boiled or mashed potatoes and mixed seasonal vegetables

You will note that we make up a batch and freeze them. The recipe is a bit fiddly to justify making just the required amount for a meal for two. I suggest you reduce the quantity first time to make sure they are to your taste before committing to a larger batch next time.

Thank you for the recipe, Alan. I'm glad it's in metric format - most recipes I find on the Internet are in an incomprehensible mix of "oz", "cups", "tbsp", etc.

I find it tastes better when thoroughly metricated - that imperialism leaves an unpleasant flavour...... :lol:

I don't particularly care for liver,yet I found it quite tasty.Served it with garlic mashed potatoes,sautéed cabbage and onions,and fresh baked French bread.

Looks like a keeper.

I did have to substitute the Oxo,though.Had to use a bastardised version-of course. :P
