The only cleaning program I use is CCleaner.

I have faith in it so I let it do its stuff without manual intervention.

Not had a problem yet with it.

I would avoid the deep registry cleaners like the plague - it won't speed up your computer - and any advantages (if there are any) - are far outweighed by the risks.

I also only use CCleaner for registry cleaning.

I've been using it for a number of years and have yet to have any problems (touchwood)

I also don't bother with programs that defragment the registry as the registry is vital to the operation of Windows and even a slight hiccup in the way a program was defragmenting the registry would mean a reinstall of Windows or an 'image' backup installation to get things back to normal.

I think CCleaner has pretty much cornered the market-and it's FREE!

I also use CCleaner and haven't had the first problem with it.

I used some other product a while back that-indirectly-taught me a lot about the registry.Man,what a frightful lesson.

I also used a reg defragger once after a clean-install and had to reinstall al over again.

Thank you guys for pacifying my need to know what others ars doing with their PCs.
