Lamb Chop
Today via File Hippo 6 of my program updates. One was WinZip haven't had this upgraded since Adam was a boy - anyway did the deed only to find it was a buy now or evaluate for 45 days - still had original - so uninstalled and then found it going to WinZip who said can have a free version if you take on of their offers - I don't do this as think it is a catch and you end up with spam emails so just bumped.May be wrong but this is not nice way to do business. Belatucadrus
I think Winzips a bit of a weirdo as if I remember correctly it's always been shareware, just that it never actually stopped working. Looks as if they've finally got it to work the way they want. One of the reasons I use ZipCentral and 7Zip.
Lamb Chop
Thank you both for link etc. I have had Winzip for years and never realized it wasnt free! don't use it much but there. will try the Zip Central as the one Alan said - had too many types for me to sort out which - look for XP home and if it has all sorts of geeky bits - beats my
