Makcalable Posted December 21, 2010 Report Share Posted December 21, 2010 Here is just a Basic Guide on how to a perform System File Scan within Windows 7;Go to Start > All Program > Accessories > Right Click Command Prompt and Run As Administrator;Type In sfc /scannow and hit enter then let it complete the scan.Screenshot 1Screenshot 2Screenshot 3The System File Checker will look for any system files/.dll file's that are corrupt and will attempt to fix these normally following a re start of your computer.This can also be run in safemode too by selecting Safemode with command prompt privilage.Hope you found this useful! 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Makcalable Posted December 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2010 Yeah the system file checker is basiscally a great built in tool for just fixing corrupt system files, however if it doesn't fix them try in safemode and if no joy use DVD :D as some files get so badly corrupted or even missing so thats when the trusted DVD comes in :D:P Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
