lunaray
I don't know how she does it, but my girlfriend's kitty will sometimes lay on my girlfriend's open laptop 0and change the orientation of the screen. This Windows 7 feature seems kind of stupid to me, why would you ever want your display to be upside down, maybe changing from landscape to portrait might make sense for somebody (not me), but upside down? To change it takes several keystrokes and they have to be done in order, clicking the correct choices, so we can't figure out how her cat is doing if, but it has happened three times and it is very awkward to correct it. Is there a way to lock the orientation, or disable the orientation choices? I told my girlfriend to close the lid when she leaves the room but that's a hassle too. bludgard
I am sure andsome could rectify the problem; if he were still around.... Since andsome is MIA, please do the following:Right-click on Desktop >New >Shortcut >copy/paste this in the target field; rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation >Next >name the shortcut what you will >Finish. You can customize the icon, drag the shortcut to the Taskbar (for one-click execution) and delete the Desktop shortcut.Hope this is helpful. :)
AlanHo
If the cat reads this message it will all be a waste of time.
bludgard
If the cat can read this message, I fear that changing desktop orientations will be the least of our worries; especially for andsome!
Belatucadrus
Be honest, a cat big enough to use an AK47 probably doesn't need one, I think they call them Lions.
