Alan2273
My niece in Canada asked me if I used MSM messenger as she wanted to get in touch using a video call.So on to the other half's computer, installed Messenger, set up the Logitech USB webcam / microphone, everything worked as it should. At an agreed time today I connected to messenger and clicked on to actions and connect to a friends computer only to find that my niece is offline.Just then she phoned me and said she could not connect either as my address was showing as offline as well.Any one got any suggestions as to where I have messed it up, as I am unfamiliar with messenger. rong
Try skype, as that is what most seem to use
Gandalph
Definitely second that. Skype, no problems at all.
OneBlueSky
I've had similar problems with Windows Live in the past. Never did really get them resolved. Third though, never had a problem with Skype. It's an excellent and unparalleled program for video chat!
