bobmoore16
I can't download Adobe reader. I get a message saying that Adobe can't download because there is a problem with Windows download service.
-pops-
Is this just with Adobe Reader? There are a number of alternative and, in most cases, better pdf readers available. Google will give links.

manhdn
Does that happen to Adobe only or for all? If only adobe, maybe you should check your antivirus, maybe it blocked adobe. And I'm wondering why don't you use foxit reader? it is light weight and works well.

Belatucadrus
Pity about Foxit, many moons ago it was a 1.2 Mb download that did exactly what you wanted, it displayed pdf files but every year it bloats up now weighing in at 36.9 Mb and coming with packaged extra crap like toolbars that you need to deselect during installation. I think it's malware free at the moment but some of the past added packages have been extremely ill advised. Have a look at STDU or Sumatra
OttoJ.Federico
Is it a regular download problem or happens only with adobe reader. If it is a regular problem then you need to uninstall your download assistant software and then try again. If it happens just with downloading adobe reader then you can use some other pdf reader alternatives like acrobat reader and some others.
