Friday morning broadband link vanishes ended up speaking to some chap in India who couldn't help so forwarded it to the phase two team, they call on Sunday yet another Indian gentleman who comes to the conclusion the Hubs dead "could I plug in another hub " like I collect the bloody things. Oh well it's out of warranty you'll need to buy a new one @ £54. At this point yours truly is emitting steam, fire and the odd mild swear word. "Would you like me to transfer you to the appropriate department" Teeth grinding, blood pressure on the up I say OK. At this point I get transferred back to the UK fortunately for my karma and general mental health the girl on the line is helpful and smart, if I contract for another year instead of just paying monthly I can have a free router and a discounted monthly tariff. This is more my idea of customer service, nice one BT.

I try not to moan about Indian call centres they have a job to do and their English is infinitely better than my Hindi, but some of those guys have accents so thick it makes understanding them way harder than it needs to be when you're already stressed out.
