Apparently designed as the voice of the Midlands Big Centre TV is ........... Well I struggle to find words that are appropriate without getting censored. I turned on the boxing coverage, one out of focus fixed camera that didn't cover the entire ring, as a result every now and again the fighters vanished. No captions, no commentary, as a result no idea who was knocking seven bells out of each other. When it finished the ring announcer may as well have been speaking with two gym socks stuck in his mouth :

Argle grunph bruugle foob gnarf uuuurg ! Maybe he didn't know who'd won either.

It was as if somebody had sellotaped his iPhone to a chair and hoped for the best, it was not one of their better ideas, there's cheap and then there's Big Centre extra cheap.

Apparently the rest of the channel features reruns of crossroads ( Cast members are apparently taking legal action for royalties ) and local programs that are so dull nobody watches.

I do wish them well, local TV needs a chance, but so far so not good.

Freeview Channel 8

Ah that explains why I can't see it - Freeview Channel 8 broadcasts different content according to the region/transmitter you have.

Our offering is called "Made in Bristol"
