Adobe Flash Player Error #2044 Unhandled Security Error

Recommended Posts

Boris,

Thanks for your interest but "Adobe Flash is integrated with Windows 8.1 so I can't do as you suggest.

I've also checked & I have the latest flash player 18.0.0.232 (debug version)

Also going onto the Adobe check site, when I test the flash player I'm advised it's working correctly.

So what do I do now?

Just found that there has been a security update, KB3087916, for Adobe Flash in Windows 8.1 & there is a problem on it known to Microsoft, details as follows:-

Known issues with this security update
•After you install this security update on a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2, you may receive an error message that resembles any of the following:

Adobe Flash Player
An ActionScript error has occurred.

Note This error does not affect the functionality of the security update. The security update still provides the protection that is described in Microsoft security advisory 2755801.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

So think this solves the problem
