johnoo
I have a Asus X102 Touch screen laptop for backup & holiday use. It's very slow I keep getting Mr gates suggesting that I install Windows 10 The laptop has a AMD Temesh Dual Core A$ -1200 1.0Ghz Processor & 4Gb of RAM Should I install Windows 10 or ignore the requests? Boris
If this is what I think it is, someone I know complained that after upgrading his to Windows 10 in an attempt to make the thing in any way usable, the buttons no longer worked on the (ELAN ?) mousepad - probably a driver problem ? He was so unimpressed that he rolled straight back to Windows 8/8.1 ? where at least all the bits worked, even if infuriatingly slowly. IMHO these lightweight things are only designed to run an absolute minimum and are easily outclassed by a decent Tablet.
johnoo
I only use it whilst on holidays, when I'm equally slow. So the answer is don't upgrade!!
Alan2273
What have you got to lose by trying the upgrade, you have 30 days to roll it back to the original OS if you do not like Win 10.
johnoo
Good point Alan, I had not realised you could do that.
