I did, and after running it for maybe a couple of years we decided to remove. We started to shed things. We were living in this thirteen room extended farmhouse, and down sizing was an imperative. There was a young fellow who lived nearby and who seemed to deal in motor cars and so I offered it to him. He bought it and went touring in it in France selling "Ugly Truck" t-shirts (he brought me one on the day they set off). I only ever saw it once again and it had been painted black by then. The pictures in the above site are most revealing, particularly in the demonstration of how much punishment the vehicle could take and how peculiar is the working of the owners brain. It also shows how much punishment a vehicle constructed from glass fibre and resin will take and how much better it looks is for shedding the black paint again. catgate
I am not sure how old the advert is. One day, much earlier this year, we had gone to visit some old neighbours living next door to where the Ugly Truck first saw light of day. They knew nothing about it, nor did one or two local "service stations". They are coming here for the day tomorrow,, so we will see if they have any "up dates". Why am I interested? I do not know. Gandalph
I could have swore I saw that on ebay for £740.00 o.n.o. a couple of week's ago. I could be mistaken though.
catgate
Gandalph." I could be mistaken though." I always thought "Once seen never forgotten". It was a lot of fun to build. There is this on eBay :- http://www.ebay.ie/itm/MADMAX-KITCAR-RAT-LOOK-PEUGEOT-305-ESTATE-DIESEL-1-5-MADE-IN-1994-ONEOFF-CAMPER/282220141644?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D38661%26meid%3De0b078ce300b4c519519b5f4a071c645%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D131947129402&clk_rvr_id=1112553262218&rmvSB=true
Irene
It has been relisted several times - look at the yellow band above the listing, it states it.
catgate
It would be nice to know how this shambles ends, but I know from a couple of sources, that nothing is ever straight forwards. I'm not an aeronautical engineer and yet that is claimed. I'm not any sort of qualified engineer!

I had noticed that Irene. I'm almost sure it was listed about two weeks ago for $740.00 o.n.o. They normally come down in price when they are re-listed, not up. catgate
I think you are a being too quick and much too generous. You could easily get it thrown at you if you wait long enough.
