peter e
Today is the anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns - Scotland's great poet. It's therefore Burns Night tonight. I'm not a Scot but I am a fan of this genius. His poetry is Scotland's second greatest export, the first being whisky (some say Lulu is the third greatest export but that's debatable). ;) So drink a toast to Robert tonight - whisky of course! (and take the time to read some of his poetry).Pete

peter e
I don't think any offence is intended, Ranger. I wouldn't worry about it anyway. :D Those of us who are interested in such things know that Scotland has a proud cultural tradition and has at times led these islands. Other than for the Arts and Sciences generally, the people of Great Britain have good reason to be grateful for the fine Scottish medical schools which have resulted in untold good in the field of medicine.Pete
