Ingenious but nuts

Some years ago, Skoda a car company renowned for it's common sense practical vehicles decided to dip it's toe into the increasingly popular pickup market, which they did by hacking the back off a hatchback and fitting a load bay. Then they got creative somebody decided that as the Four seat cab was gaining popularity they should have one too. Problem when your passenger cab is basically the two front seats and the rear seats and boot is gone what to do where to put the other two seats.

Their not so brilliant response was to make the rear wall of the drivers cab detachable and mount two seats to it, this was wedged right up to the back of the two ordinary seats and as such was unusable in normal configuration. So when you needed an extra two seats you took the back off the cab and mounted it and the attached seats in the load bay. Apparently it weighed a ton was a pig to move and left passengers unprotected from the elements. Not a roaring success.
