the 404 thing happens from time to time, just try searching again.....

expertec and powerless were talking about the "24/7 internet provided by bt" that appears at the top of your browser and probably outlook express as well. It has no real effect on your machine and the running of, it is purely cosmetic.

You can remove the branding from IE with Spywareblaster.

In Spywareblaster, go to Tools, misc IE settings and change the branding to whatever you want from there. No need for complex registry editing or any other programs.

It remains true that a simple method of brand removal is available via Spywareblaster which many people already have.

Actually to DE-brand OE and IE you do not need a downlaod at all, i'll have you know.

All you have to do is copy:

rundll32.exe iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Then go to start, run and paste and click ok.

I ain't to bothered about the branding, it says I paid my bill. :lol: But I have executed it and will find out after a reboot.

I really can't see why there is so much agitation being generated here.

I made a suggestion that branding can be removed by using facilities already installed in many people's machines - Spywareblaster.

That's all there is to it. There is really no need for haranguing me over it.

The server error could be just a glitch here, possibly someone else searching at the same time as you. I've had it happen elsewhere.
