Tony
Hi AndyThat is a really nice site, well laid out and pleasing to the eye.It is fine in IE 6But in Netscape 7.1 and Mozill there is a problem with the nav bar at the bottum of the pages, it is also exactly the same problem with Opera 7.21.The Contact button wraps around to underneeth the big graphic on the left. This is something to do with spacing in between the elements of the nav bar (i think)All the bestTony
AndySD
Thanks TonyI just downloaded Ntescape and see what you mean.....will sort it out.
-pops-
Tried IE6 and opera 7.21 and get the same 404.Sorreeee
Guest nellie2
I only have IE6 at the moment, I'm using slimbrowser which is an IE6 add on. The site looks fine to me, simple... clean...pleasing in the eye. Love the colours, the only thing I would say is that it isn't 100% clear how to navigate back to your home page..........but it didn't take me long to work it out though.I like it
AndySD
Thanks nellie2Tony I think I have sorted the wrap arround. Can you check on your pcPops and Doug...hmm I will need to check on it.Still a small problem on the index page in Netscape.... working on it.Andy

Tony
Hi AndyI have just checked it in Netscape again, and all seems fine. But the problem is still there for Opera. Now normally i would say sod opera (it is a strange beast) but as your wifes company is all about web design it does not look too good if you can not get it right. How did you fix the problem for Netscape? maybe just a little bit more of the same.Tony
moon
Functions fine with my Opera 7.2 but is very much a 'left sided' experience. Is it Opera or did you intend the right third of the screen to be blank ?
doug
Just back from family dinner. Looks as though it's working for me. Will give it a better coat of looking at tomorrow.

djohn
Hi Andy, Looks excellent through AOL at 1280x1024. I think AOL uses IE6 as it's browser. Hope you and family are keeping well. [i had the pleasure of meeting Andy and his family when they came up to see me.] Lovely people. j :)
-pops-
Success - got it!!!!!!Will have a closer look later but something that I noticed was the inconsistent use of upper case in trade names and proper nouns. For example surrey instead of Surrey, microsoft and not Microsoft. There are a numer of instances of this. There are some typos as well, powepoint being one. This may seem nitpicking but people are like that.Regarding the artistic aspects of the site - yes - it's nice. I like the pastel colours far better than those in-yer-face almost fluorescent colours so often (over)used.Brian
andsome
Looks pretty damned smart to me. Despite being the best looking and generally most intelligent bloke on the forum, I have never tried anything like this. Well done.

kesser
I'd say it is up in the top left too. Otherwise I think it is a well designed site with all the design elements required to impress punters (mind you, mine is totally awful so what do I know). On the other hand I do think that some of the english needs tidying up, this is something I think is overlooked by designers but as someone who does this sort of thing, it smacks me in the face. A few misplaced lowercase items and suchlike I thought.....Great looking site though! Loadsa white space with well placed graphics & good navigation elements :D
