Guest Grim Reaper
none of the links work.......(says we dont have permission)with regards to the winxp with knobs on....dont forget it is not even half finished.MS still have to implement the WinFS storage, the Aero interface and many other features. The version released at the PDC was a very early beta version.IF it lives up to all i have read then it will be rather good!!

Gandalph
I've managed to navigate back to the site where I found these links in the USA and for some reason they have stopped anyone from going any further. It's a pity as they were defiantly worth a view but as I said, in my opinion it's Just Windows XP with knobs on irrespective of what is left to be added to it. If I can find another site with working links I will post back. :(

Gandalph
In accordance with something I read a few months back, there will be no more operating systems coming from Microsoft with the Windows name. Hence the name Microsoft Longhorn OS. Then who knows, Shorthorn, Foghorn, Forlorn, and God knows what else.
