-pops- Posted December 11, 2003 Report Share Posted December 11, 2003 Why is it that on the first day of spam propagation being illegal in Europe that I have been deluged with spam with titles of the most revolting nature. Don't get me wrong, I'm as broad minded as anyone but some of this stuff is just totally disgusting (and no, I don't visit dubious websites where my address could have been picked up)Mailwasher greeted me with six full pages of the material when I opened up this morning. Usually I get 5 or 6 spam emails a day, not six pages worth.I also have BT spam catcher which had 377 spam mailings in it after emptying it yesterday morning.I know I can change my address and all such things but I don't see why I should have to. Changing my address would cause all sorts of problems elsewhere as I use it for business purposes.Why can't spammers just stop it????? I'm glad to say that from about a hundred a day, I have not had one since changing my e-mail address. It's well worth it for your own private use.
