trackrat
Has anyone built a shuttle barebones system, I have been looking at one on ARIA, is it as simple as putting a processor, memory, hard drive and graphics card. Are they difficult to work on regarding space. http://www.aria.co.uk/displayproducts.asp?Category=
Guest nellie2
Hi there... I moved your topic to hardware, hope that is ok!! I have never seen inside one of those compact cases but I would think that they would be a bit tight for space. I don't know which one you were thinking of but this little bit of info has come my way.http://www.shuttle.com/share/fae/hq/faq/sf...one%20SB51G.pdf

ranger
My son has just bought a shuttle, I haven't seen it yet, but he didn't seem to have any problems with it and he thinks it's the "bees knees"If I see him today I will ask him a bit more about it
-pops-
I would find the bare bones aspect and the limited (non-existent) expansion capabilities very offputting.Fine if you know for certain you are not wanting to add anything else but be careful not to buy something at a very low cost now only to regret it later because it cannot do all you want it to.
