trackrat
Halesowen is the next town to me, fortunately I use Ideal Technology for most of my parts, but it is sad to see another firm go to the wall. :o
andsome
You can't beat buying from your local shop. In another thread, I posted a problem with a dicky CD ROM drive eleven months old. If this had been in a computer bought from one of the big boys, I would probably have spent ages on a premium rate helpline, and than been asked to fit a replacement myself, or wait in for an engineer who did not arrive, or worst of all to parcel the machine up and return it. As it was I popped in to the shop, one mile away, and a replacement was fitted within an hour. At my request I paid £10 and had an Asus DVD drive fitted instead of a free replcement CD drive. You won't get service as good as that from ANY of the so called big boys.
