doug
I note that since the re-installation I no longer have Icons for IE and OE sitting on the task bar next to the start icon. It was always so useful having them there, I could open up new windows and things whenever I wanted. Now If I have a window open, I have minimise it so I can locate IE or OE from the shortcuts on the desk top. Help.

nellie2
BTW just in case anyone was wondering, since my reformat my quick launch is working properly now and I don't have to keep turning it on with every boot! Must have been a glich.
doug
Well, it was fully working as I used to have it but now it's showing IE, show desk top and Play media player. It's not showing OE. Did the right click, as per christmascracker's quickie and OE is definitely listed. Is it because show desktop and media player have appeared there? Or is it because I've been mucking about with the screen resolution? Not interested in media player and why is the show desk top there?
