Andy-2004
I know where it went but i cant get it backive had this problem before but fixed it...kindaok... i used to have style xp...but now i dont(it caused major problems to do with me trying to change my boot screen and in the long run needing to reformat)at the time i used style xp to change my log on screen...since uninstalling style xp my log on screen had dissapeared.....(this was a few months ago) so then i found out if i reinstall style xp and change my log onscreen to the origional one it would stay there(the log on screen)so i did this and then i went to Programme Files and made the whole style xp folder a hidden 1...so that i would hopefully never have to worry about it again...that worked out fine...then about a week ago i had my folder option set to show hidden folders...and in programme files i noticed...tgtsoft-style xp....so not thinking i deleted itThen...u guessed it...no log on screen...instead the is a box where you type your name and your passwordI am almost certian if i was to download style xp and install it it would work again..but u only get thirty days or somthing before you have to pay for it which i dont really want to have to do...!that may not make sence at all but i think what i am asking is can i somhow fix the origional xp logon screen thingy? Please ask if you need more inforegards andy-2004
trackrat
Try this prigramme Andy.I deleted some E-Mails some months ago and found that I needed two of them, this programme allowed me to retrieve them, Idon`t know if it will bring your programme back, but it is free so it will cost you nothing to try. And it also brings back deleted files.http://www.theabsolute.net/sware/dskinv.html

nellie2
Now you are telling me that this is your copy of windows XP.... so it is your disk !!!!Put it in the cd drive and go to Start > run and type sfc /scannow (note the space between c and /) If there are any corrupt or missing system files then that process should replace them.
