Are they destined for the great software depository in the sky? With the vast increases in computer speeds, internet speeds, huge capacity storage devices and development all round, file zipping seems very dated and unnecessary now. I've been involved with computers since the first commercial Sinclairs models (and before then if you count adding machines and comptometers).
