Guest Drovers Dog Posted February 29, 2004 Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 :P From time to time, some Members have Posted to the Jokes Forum, that this Forum is a waste of time, and Resources!!I happen to positively disagree with this attitude, and feel ALL Members should be able to discuss the Pros, and Cons!!To start off, I would just like to give the following, based on my own experience with Life!!Some Families, Couples and Singles have heaps of problems, just coping, just with what happens each day!! Stress most severe!!Others, are a little more fortunate, but at the end of the Day there is still heaps of Stress!!The Chosen Few??? Example, The Royal Family!! Do you honestly think THEY are free from Stress??It is accepted, not by you and I, but most Proffessionals, that Laughter relieves Stress!!Why should ANY Member be denied the right to releave SOME of their STRESS, just by having a LAUGH??BTW if you are upset by what I said, I am sorry!! :censored: :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Personally, I don't read the jokes very often. That's probably because I'm an old misery and most of them aren't very funny in my view. Well, let's say they don't appeal to my sense of humour. However, its should always be borne in mind that this is WINDOWS FORUM and recently it seems that jokes have formed a major portion of posts. It has became a big part of Windows Forum, because, I really think people care!! It might be the real thing that makes this Site DIFFERENT! I hope it is for all our sake!!Some of the Jokes are OLD, some are CORNEY, some are IFFY, but they make People LAUGH!!Is it better for someone to come here, even just for a LAUGH!, or let that person suffer, all alone, without somewhere that they can relax??I must be honest!! They may benefit from the advice they see or enjoy/not enjoy the jokes.They may not have problems themselves or feel competent to provide answers for others. BUT the very fact that they have registered rather than just viewing as guests means that they wish to be a part of our small community (in whatever way they choose).This is what makes this place just that little bit different - the mixture of threads, ages, interests, opinions and perspectives. There were 4 kids involved, but the Bloke left them with the Mother, because he thought that was best and started to put his life together again. He Remarried, and had a little girl! When that little girl was three months old, the Bloke found out that his youngest, a son, was killed! He kept on with his life, and a little boy, came along!! When the little boy was six months old, the Bloke heard that his eldest Son was DEAD! That Bloke had two choices!!!
