May be it was me not used to it but I didn't like the "building site" type black an yellow either.Once Outpost is set up it does its job quietly and unobtrusively. Agent Smith Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 As pointed out, it is really a personal matter for firewalls.I have been through several stages of firewall deployment, ranging from 3 seperate applications running side by side (that was a pain to get working) up to my current setup which involves Border Manager running on a dedicated machine behind a netgear router. But that is hardly what can be deemed a personal firewall.If I need to reccommend a setup for home use, it is normally a combination of Zone Alarm and Norton Personal Firewall 2002 (fully patched and updated of course).
