It is a Blueyonder account, with two e-mail addresses on one mailbox, but when e-mail to the second address replied to it is sent from the first e-mail address, is there a way to correct this? andsome Posted March 16, 2004 Report Share Posted March 16, 2004 I would have thought that it was possible, but a little messy. I would have thought that you would have to make whichever address you wanted to use for a particular e-mail, the default address, and then change the default when you wanted to use the other address. expertec Posted March 17, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 Now Outlook express is set up to receive the mail to the second address, but if I do send receive in Outlook first it will receive the mail for both addresses, is there a way to stop this? andsome Posted March 17, 2004 Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 In Outlook Express you can click on Tools/Accounts/Properties/Servers and remove either outgoing or incoming mail server. expertec Posted March 17, 2004 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 Whichever program was used first was collecting all the unread mail from the server, so I deleted the second e-mail address and then created it again in another mailbox, (in blueyonder selfcare, this is) now all is well: all the email for number 1 address goes to outlook, and all the e-mail for number 2 address goes to outlook express :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't looked at the site recently until today, and straight away I came across a couple of typos and looked at it critically.
