andsome Posted March 26, 2004 Report Share Posted March 26, 2004 When we first moved into this house about 38 years ago, it was newly built. The land had been a potato field the year before. We were infested with earwigs for three or four years. On many occasions we felt a tickle during the night, jumped out of bed, and found an earwig. I put a trowel into the ground on one occasion, and a hole fell in, there were thousands of tiny earwigs there, I had disturbed a nest. They were foul things, almost as bad as cats.
