doug
The thought struck me as I was indulging in the annual Spring Fertility rite of scarifying the lawn using my trusty electric scarifier.Think of how hard it would have been if I still had to do it by hand. Then what about amp and volt as well as Hertz and his oh so useful cycles. While i was at it I also gave a quick thank you to Petrol for his engine so I can carry it up to Rubbish's Tip. While on the subject I also gave a passing thought to Mega and his hertz with a nod to Giga and his Bytes. Somewhere along the line I overlooked Watt and his kettle.Anyone else remember any other famous inventions?

nellie2
Should we not give thanks for Adam for inventing the Apple, can't remember what speed it ran at though! Apples sit on trees........ they don't go anywhere at speed unless it is on a lorry to the fruit and veg shop. And wasn't it Eve that tempted Adam with the apple and the snake that tempted Eve with it to start with. And it wouldn't have been on the tree if the Creator hadn't put it there in the first place would it!!!
