I know it as the gas company, the water company and the electricity company had to connect to three houses but their pipes and wires were not allowed to cross each other.Clue to the answer - you have to use solid geometry. We live on a sphere - the world and to carry out the required piping/wiring one of the utilities has to take the feeder pipe or cable around the world.
