Boris
6 weeks ago we bought a small Electrolux "The Boss" Vacuum (a Model B3300) from Tesco - £29.99 . It now seems that Tesco don't actually sell the bags for this machine which was apparently a "special" version of the machine - produced just for them. It came with 2 bags, but now we can't find any replacement bags for it at all anywhere - its not even listed on the Electrolux FloorCare web site :o Anyone got any sources for the bags ? Boris
There's nothing on their web site for that particular model ! "The Boss" is also a generic name for a whole new range of Electrolux models - all different !!!I emailed Electrolux yesterday - but no answer as yet :(+ your links don't work ?I'd already looked at Partmaster and they aren't shown there :(
Tankus
Off hand I think its the "Lite " series , but give electrolux a ring to confirm...(BIN05487)

andsome
I would take it back to Tesco and ask for a refund. If the machine is made specially for them and they don't offer spare bags, ask them what the hell you are supposed to do.
Tankus
Custom machines made for major distributors only have small if minor cosmetic changes or minimal feature benefits ....The source model bags will fit.....there are two reasons why this is done.......It justifies the manufacturer producing a massive made to order model that undercuts the price paid per unit , paid for by the independent retailers without naffing them off .... (for effectively the same unit) And prevents price matching across retailers ..as the model is different ... The manufacturer's don't want to lose the big orders from the big players , but at the same time they cannot afford to loose the bread and butter from the indpendents , who make up 50% of the electrical domestic retail sales ..... Big players can run at lower margins , due to bulk buying , and lower operating costs ...
