Ash
Winamp - nice lot of features (Simpsons on Winamp TV = the win) including those to make it less bulky and memory intensive than WMP9. Good userbase for skins and help too.

Sir Radfordin
WMP for the same reason that I use IE. It is there, it works, it does all that I need to and I have never had a reason to look for anything else.

nellie2
Guess what I just installed last night because I wanted to listen to the radio, only way I can get BBC stations is with realplayer. And before anyone says anything I tried the radio player on the BBC site, it didn't seem to work......... I'd been putting off installing the buggy bat poo, but have disabled a couple of things in msconfig so it isn't bothering me!!!! :)
Guest ellas
nel if you installed real 10 as I told you there would be no entries in msconfig,as for qt they will be back when you open it again.
nellie2
well I did intstall real 10 and I disabled realshed. I also installed Quicktime which insisted on installing itunes with it, which I am miffed about because I don't have an iPod.Have disabled qttask and itunes helper and they haven't come back on reboot. So I'm thankful for small mercies
Chris
On it's own I find RP to be an excellent Media Player it has everyhting you want it to have. Even the subscriptions services I'm led to believe are top notch...If real networks want to make it any better they have to remove its intrusive installation.IMO.
