That is more than enough to keep me outa there. They can have the damn oil!!!!! AUGH!!!!!! This is a picture from IRAQ. This is what they call a camel spider. When they bite you, you are injected withNovocain so you go numb instantly. You don't even know you are bitten whenyou are sleeping, so you wake up with part of your leg or arm missingbecause it has been gnawing on it all night long.If you are walking around and you bump something that is casting a shadowover it, and the sun makes contact with it, you better run. It willinstantly run for your shadow, and scream the whole time it is chasing you.PS. The one on the bottom is eating the one on the top. These are Spidersfound daily in IRAQ by our troops. They are no where near that size, usually about the size of a Scorpion, do not inject any Novocain but are quite fast for their size about 5-8 miles per hour and can jump several feet in one leap. Feed mainly on Camels, tend to leave humans alone.My son saw many of these while on night patrol, even had one crawl over his back [Couldn't move because of the closeness of Iraq militia] but said, in general they didn't bother any of the lads out there.
