An apology

I was cleaning down behind my key board and I found the following characters and punctuation marks:- vee, tee, aitch, two commas and a semi-colon. I can only assume that they have slipped through a small hole in the wire from the keyboard to the back of the tower, during my last couple of posts.

I append them below so that if anyone should so desire they can copy them in.

This thread has reminded me of a problem soon to be faced by computer users with LCD screens.

When you delete text - it falls down the screen (too fast for you to see) and collects at the bottom of the monitor casing.

CRT monitors have large casings and it takes a long time for the text to build up sufficient thickness before it eventually encroaches into the bottom of the screen window.

LCD monitors however have much smaller casings which will fill up more quickly.

This is why I stick with my CRT monitor.

catgate - you may have a crack in your monitor casing which has allowed a few letters to fall out.
