Hurdy
I don't read newspapers normally but whilst in Tesco this morning munching a rather nice cinammon swirl I picked up one of the complimentary 'papers for a quick perusal.'Twas the Daily Mail and rather damning it was too.The article by Quentin Letts on page 5 was particularly scathing towards Blair.Just thought I'd share. Redhat
Yes but we all know the Mail would have an anti-blair field day - good on them too :D

News-night goes with the BNP story as a lead , is this beeb acquiesces under the post Hutton fallout regime ......Part of its reparations to the Rev ....even though Butler has confirmed that the 45 min was BS spin.... ? The electorate comprises people such as those who made comments here and a good number who are even less informed. This makes your comment beyond ridicule. Tankus
Shirl's got a point .....I really don't understand , how , after everything that has happened ( even excluing Iraq) B'liar still is considered a credible option for a vote by many people in the next elections .....It beats me ...? dont think that Im alone in this either He has been so fortunate that the opposition is so week ... , but thinking about it , if there is a 60% turnout in the next elections , and he gets 40% of that vote which will get him back in , He's only got the mandate of around 25% of the actual eligible voting population .... a minority ....but what is the option ...? Hurdy
Tankus is right as ususal. There is no opposition. Labour got back into Hodge Hill because the votes against them were fragmented. If there had been a credible party of opposition then they would/should have been swept aside.Just as the pigs in Animal Farm did, New Labour has adopted the policies of its rivals leaving the ordinary punter confused as to who they should support. The Tories look dead in the water. The danger is ,of course, that now that NL have blurred the traditional lines in the sand the parties that will rise to oppose them will be more and more extreme. Tankus
bloody ironic that gorgeous George allowed b'liar to keep the seat (just) at Hodge Hill .......I'll bet they had a good laugh at that around the cabinet table this morning ......
