Also like the Chili Peppers. Genesis , before it became the Phil Collins backing group (Gabriel rocks ) The Doors , Deep Purple (before Blackmore became a pixie ,and totally lost the plot ,and Gillian's voice still could hit the notes).Black Sabbath (post ozzy, Dio,s got a monster voice,then Gillian joined and blew it)..EVERYthing from Led Zep..................Some early Yes ,if in the mood...The Verve.....Radiohead.......early Rush (pre mid 80's ) Marilion (with Fish) and the Prodigy........Quite like the Enigma albums when on the grind into work too......volume full on...........Its de base mon...!Used to like Jarre when he was original,but he hasn't dated well...like post post mid 80's the albums are pants...and even the early stuff sound's naff now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Don't care what anyone says.Otherwise it's the Hollies, Abba, Four Seasons, Dire Straits.Before last Christmas, as a birthday treat I took my wife to see Cliff Richard at Sheffield Arena. I wasn't looking forward to it but I have to give old Cliff credit. He gave it his all and I had to admit that it was a super show.Oh, and when I was young I was madly in love with Alma Cogan. Richard Wagner, Jaccamo Puccini, Verdi, all in Opera. All types of traditional and modern jazz. Big band. BUT DEFINITELY none of this talking chanting and jabbering that is done at present.
