andsome
I've locked our porch door to keep the beggars out. A couple of years ago when I refused to give money, our door bell was wrecked
Gandalph
I've locked our porch door to keep the beggars out. A couple of years ago when I refused to give money, our door bell was wreckedI had three kid's at the door last night and I had just sat down for dinner so I totally ignored them. The kid's around here (if you give them something) quickly put the word around then you end up inundated with them. I don't mind the odd couple of times, Thing is there are no kids living in our street, they come from about two miles away. :(
andsome
It's yet another unwanted American import. No disrespect to the Americans who visit WF, but there are a lot of undesirable things from accros the pond now unfortunately becoming part of British culture. It was very poor people who begged in return for food, and they had to promise to say a prayer for the dead. It was however the Americans who started this nonsense with children making a nuisance of themselves.
