Guest Damo Posted March 29, 2003 Report Share Posted March 29, 2003 Ive just had a look back at the posts over the last couple of weeks and cant belive how low ive stooped.Ive gone too far on lots of occasions.The reason i came to this forum in the first place was to try and help people with computer related problems, but instead of doing that ive descended into petty childish tormenting!This is not like me at all! Ok I take the mickey out of a few people, but no harm is meant, but alas it seems ive not been able to help myself!Ive received some GREAT help on this forum, if it were not for a few un-named people (you know who you are!) i would not have got a website up and running and a new hobby which i am utterly absorbed in. Even so far as to going back to college and doing a Web Design course. But now to the point!............The reason i posted this thread is to say im gonna be leaving the forum...........at least for a few months.I know that if i stay at the moment Im going to go too far and say something which will cause offence to someone.I wish everyone all the best, your a great bunch!Thanks to Craig for starting the forum in the first place and for all the hard work he's put into it, which makes it THE best forum ive been to! I hope he stays.I think having "The Mad House" is enticing people to be stupid (He-He) which then spills onto the other threads.Perhaps binning this section, and moving the proper stuff (Hardware, OS's, News etc) to the top of the Forum list would be a good idea. As it stands, the "leisure" part of the site is too prominent. Apart from the title of the forum it just looks like any other place for posting nonsense - with a token hardware section down the bottom.Maybe Craig should have just the one section for Off Topic stuff tucked away down the bottom of the forum index so it doesn't overshadow the rest of the place.
