AlanHo
Come on - own up - who has seen the new movie and managed to stay awake for 142 minutes.I got dragged there yesterday - the music is superb in patches - but the plot is so slow and ponderous that it was only by virtue of booming dolby surround sound I was kept awake. AlanHo
The London show was fabulous - but the film is disappointing. Perhaps I am drawing an unfair comparison and expected too much of the multi-million cost film.

We went to the opening night in London all those years ago. I thought it was wonderful - hubby wasn't so keen.
andsome
The show sure was brilliant. Was the film overdone or something? What was wrong with it? I was looking forward to it.
