EPIC

Ive posted this on the "other side of the pond" too......!

Its 8 min long ...the site has 4 mirrors

It creeped me out a bit as it predicts that I will be unemployed in 8 years time

Not just retail will change significantly

But just how we all view the world and inform ourselves

But with AI's with a psychological makeup of who you are ,targeting you for selected input (news , information, subliminal, advertising ,retail, even social interaction) ....the opportunities for manipulation are enormous ...

It does seem very believable ...

Google ...could go to the wall ...who knows ...?

Its not the branding ...its the underlying technology and social change .... The internet has hit retail margins and volume hard ...How many of us get our "news " from only one or two sources anymore ...?

Just look at us lot here ...how many now have virtual friends ....not just across geography ....but also across age ..

Global warming

How on earth can you say that. Just look at the ever quickening changes taking place in global weather. Temperatures are already considerably up. Temperatures are up so much to the north west of Russia that ice is melting more rapidly. This in turn is diluting the sea water. The gulf stream relies on the cooler water causing it to sink as it reaches the northern hemisphere. This sinking causes a rotation of the water, which then travels southwards along the bottom of the sea. The diluted sea water slows down this sinking process, thus slowing down the gulf stream flow. The eventual result will be that as temperatures rise, this effect will eventually cause the gulf stream to stop, thus causing a massive drop in temperatures in Britain and Western Europe. The temperature here will eventually match those in Siberia. Already the slow down in the flow of the gulf stream is giving cause for alarm. You obviously do not keep up with world news.

Focus on the things that are realy going to happen! What about my pension fundĀ  :ranting:

:D

Gordon Brown has already had a good slice of it. Several measures he has brought in have robbed our pensions. He stopped the tax relief on pension fund earnings for a start. Then stopped the married couples tax allowance. So and and so on, always robbing those who can least afford it.
